RollerMouse Red
The RollerMouse red and contoured design is a central point that is fixed at speed in a prime position between the operator and the keyboard spacebar. This keeps all mouse activity “in-line”, i.e. in the area in front of the keyboard, eliminating the need for a mouse.
This also makes it suitable for use in situations where there may not be enough space for the mouse to be placed next to the keyboard. Like all RollerMice, movement of the curator is achieved through the use of a tubular, cylindrical “roller bar” and fingers. Rotating the roller bar moves the cursor up and down, while sliding the roller bar from one side to the other enables rotation.
Once the desired position has been found, the left button can be created by depressing the bar (the force required for this can be adjusted from ultra-light touch to extreme touch). At the bottom of the bar are eight buttons and a scroll wheel for left/middle/right press, copy, paste, back, forward and straight push. There is also a cursor speed button in the middle of the copy and paste buttons to get ten different running systems from 600 to 2800 dpi. Red also comes with an adjustable keyboard “riser” to enhance both standard and compact monolithic keyboards. The controls can also be configured using a downloadable driver.
Features
Wireless Technology. RollerMouse Red Wireless uses wireless technology to make desktops wireless/cordless, thus reducing clutter and increasing work area. By combining Red Wireless with Contour’s Balance Keyboard, a wireless dongle can be used with either Red Wireless or Balance Keyboard (this does provide a backup of the dongle if one is lost).
Wireless Data Protection. All data is stored using Contour Design’s wireless devices, which are protected using AES 128-bit encryption. Button presses are generated and toggled between the dongle and the wireless device during the connection process, then stored and used after stored communication.
Front-end roller tracking technology. The preferred red RollerMouse is a large, hard roller, cylindrical tracking device with the sensor (800 to 2400 dpi) built directly into the roller. A rotating lever moves the cursor up and down in the indicator, and left or right movement is achieved by simply rolling the roller column from one side to the other. The combination of rotation and lateral movement provides full cursor control. Advanced tracking technology adjusts the speed and acceleration of the curator to the speed and distance of this movement.
Large diameter manufactured roll bar. The 0.8″ diameter roller column is equipped with raised knobs, so finger touch is significantly increased, giving the device better control and making it more precise like a mouse.
Aluminum housing. RollerMouse Red has a flat grade aluminum housing that creates rigidity and eliminates the possibility of twisting or bending, which can impair roller function, especially when used on uneven surfaces.
Ergonomic Benefits
Protects the static grip of the mouse – The Red RollerMouse is controlled by a steady open hand and slightly folded fingers, with no opportunity to touch or grasp the device to gain control of the curser. The fingers simultaneously rotate and slide a thick rod that moves the spring across the display without squeezing or turning. By eliminating the muscle activity required to grasp the mouse, joint compression through the carpal tunnel is also prevented. Learn more about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
Left and right hand cursor control – Control the mouse from either hand equally by tapping the middle mouse button inside the center of the button. Ambidextrous is recommended and makes it easy.
Less repetitive movements – Any finger can be used to press the scroll bar, spreading the load on both hands, unlike most mice where only the index finger is available for left-clicking, which can lead to toe lifts.
Reduces inappropriate and negative movements – “One-touch” button copy, paste and double-click buttons reduce inappropriate movements of the cursor, pressing and scrolling the keyboard.
Shuttle Pro V2
- Shuttle is a macro set that can be used in conjunction with the keyboard and mouse. Using any stock or culture
- set, Shuttle will issue keyboard shortcuts to enhance products in the office, studio, house, and more.
- Shuttle Pro v2 is a global tool that supports hundreds of programs and controls the focus program.
Most efficient = greater ergonomics
Well, that’s not really a formula. (But now, ergonomics isn’t really a word, either, so it all evens out.) If you can do more work with less effort, more types of stress will be reduced – and thus less chance of long-term injury. For example, most map apps recover (a feature I use often!) To press Ctrl + Z – two keys. On ShuttlePro, you can set the same function to a single touch button.
One button instead of two doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it’s repeated several times a day and almost any successful recovery of this type makes sense. Of course, as any action you retrieve becomes more difficult, the benefits increase. the ShuttlePro software comes with access to the macro programming system, so you can take this idea to – and perhaps forward – where you want it.
Tools at your fingertips, no keyboard required
I don’t do much audio or video editing at the moment, but I do have the opportunity to do a lot of design. Traditionally, I work with one hand on the mouse or pen and the other on the keyboard to help adjust the keys and shortcuts. Earlier, when I used a Microsoft Natural Elite keyboard (ask your grandfather), that worked fine. But today, I’m using the Kinesis Freestyle with the V3 kit, which means the center of the floating keyboard is about an inch from the desktop. This is great for typing, but not so great if my left hand is on the stand. When I float, my arm gets stronger and it starts to hurt. If I put it on a table, the keyboard doesn’t reach my fingers.
Unimouse
Connect your Unimouse to your computer using a USB cable, or a wireless USB receiver/dongle (wireless only) Turn the power switch under the Unimouse to “ON” (wireless only).
Adjustments
Take some time to fix the corners of the Unimouse and the position of the leg supports so that they feel comfortable. To avoid clutter, feel free to redesign the Unimouse. variety of shapes is a major factor in ergonomics.
And that’s it…
With these few steps, you’re ready to get to work. We hope you enjoy working with your new Unimouse. After some time of operation, you may want to adjust the cursor speed, or use the driver adjustment buttons.

RAZER SEIREN EMOTE
For it to flow, interacting with your audience is the most important factor for success on Twitch. The separation between the life cycle and the flow of the chatterbox is an insurmountable challenge. On top of that, the visual design enhances the flow area, from which it can be complex and expensive (if it’s cheap and boring with pop-up green screens).
Razer’s new microphone handles both of these issues in a smart and effective way that will make many dawgs happy. Called the Seiren Emote, its new microphone is a primary microphone with a built-in display that works with your chat while gaming. The device was announced today at TwitchCon and TheGamer was able to go hand-in-hand with it. We’re happy to tell Razer here’s a deadly device that has the potential to perk up your jungle and treat your audience in a cool way.
Fear nothing, doubt nothing
The Seiren Emote also works out of the box, so if you’re not a fan or don’t want to mess with new apps (though they’re surprisingly easy to use), you can simply tap the mic in and get started. If you don’t change it, the emoticon will be the perfect smiley face, which I don’t quite remember.
